Job Description:
EDGE Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer interested in public transportation, drainage, aviation, and flood control analysis & design. Job responsibilities will include performing hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, schematic and PS&E level design, preparing reports, construction cost estimates and specifications in accordance with local, state and federal code requirements, and consistent communication and coordination. Depending on experience level and desire, the applicant may serve as an Assistant Project Manager, managing tasks, budgets, staff, and client coordination. Applicant should be driven and committed to excellence and growth through hard work and dedication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- PE License (Texas) or able to obtain in Texas
- Minimum 4-years of experience, primarily focused on H&H and drainage design
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CAD software
- Experience designing storm drain, ditches, and culvert for transportation projects.
Preferred
- Experience in Microstation or ORD
- Experience with ESRI ArcMap or other GIS applications
- Experience with HEC-RAS or HEC-HMS
- Experience with Infoworks ICM, XP-SWMM, EPA SWMM, KYPipe and other hydraulic models
